This is a new departure for me both in medium and subject. I chose watercolor because of it’s fluid nature, and pen & ink for it’s control. Much of my work leaves happenings to chance, but on occasion more control over the line, composition, and medium are satisfying. These pieces represent the need to control more of the outcome, yet at the same time let my mind roam free. I suppose that is a balance we all strive for… knowing when to let go, and when to hold tight to the line.
